Ride London 2018

Sunday July 29th

Join the Learning for Life team for what many call the London Marathon on wheels!

 

The Prudential RideLondon London-Surrey 100 is the biggest closed road cycling event in the UK.

 

The 100-mile course follows the exact route used for the 2012 Olympic Road Race.

 

The Route

The ride starts in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park then follows a 100-mile route on closed roads which will be lined with thousands of spectators.

You will cycle past famous landmarks as you leave London before crossing into Surrey’s stunning countryside.

With some leg testing climbs along the way, the ride finishes on The Mall in central London.

 

Am I fit enough?

You need to be confident cycling in a large crowd of cyclists (26,000+) and be able to finish in 9 hours. Minimum age: 18 years on 31 July 2017.

 

Costs & Sponsorship

Learning for Life has guaranteed charity places for the 2018 ride.

Given the cost to us for each place, we are asking our supporters for a registration fee of £50 and then to pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship fund of £400.

 

London Marathon 2018

Take part in one of the most famous and coveted marathons, where you will run an amazing route on closed roads, passing the capital's spectacular landmarks and being cheered on by thousands of supporters!

 

Registration fee: £100

Minimum fundraise: £2000

British 10K London Run

If you've always wanted to run the iconic road route of the marathon, but dont' quite fancy the distance, you can still get the experience with the British 10K London Run!

Santa Run 2017

The Santa Run takes place in London's beautiful Victoria Park. You can run with 4000 other Father Christmases in a fun and festive race.

 

You can choose between a 5K and a 10K route, and every runner gets a free Santa suit on the day!

London to Paris Bike Ride

2016

Your London to Paris cycling challenge will see you cycling 234 miles (377kms) over 3 days and through 2 countries. 

Your challenge begins in the leafy suburbs of West London where you will meet the rest of your group and navigate your way out of Greater London through the English countryside to the South coast. 

Rajasthan Cycle Challenge

Your expedition begins in the hustle and bustle of Delhi. Take some time to get behind the chaotic facade and discover the inner peace of a city rich with culture, architecture and human diversity.

Then move on to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal where you can explore the monument before your biking challenge begins.
