Susan Simmonds

Susan Simmonds has over 30 years working with international organisations (including the UN), government, higher education and non profits across issues including international development, refugees/migration, democratisation and child rights. She has expertise in global strategic communications and has served as a CEO and Board Chair of UK based NGOs. 

Susan holds a LLM in international human rights law and media from SOAS, which reflects both her expertise in and commitment to rights based development, particularly gender justice and protection of minority rights. She has been a Trustee of Learning for Life since 2012 and Chair since 2020.
